Couturier looked a bit icy in the middle where it gets narrow. Hoping that it snows some more before the we. There was at least one person skiing down it on sat - didn`t see how they tackeld the ice though.

Col de la Verte was great! The steep section on top is more sustained, though a lot wider. We had an interesting time getting the skiis on - there was a thin layer (15 cm or so) of snow on blue ice, so no luxury ledges to be fashioned.

Good work on the Col de l'Aiguille Verte! That is a very nice line. Got to have a little epic every now and then ;) or so it seems. Hope to be gone in the next couple of days. Looks like the skies might be opening but will give you a shout otherwise. How did the Couturier look?

Nice little epic!

And I trust you taking advantage of the grounded planes to do some more?

Jean and I had a good day on the col de la verte on saturday. We didn`t quite top out at the col because it got icy, but the rest was good... steep, but good.

If you`re around next weekend give us a shout - we`re hoping to have a bash at the Couturier.
